STAY WITH US

We offer lodging on the farm for up to 13 guests in our historic 1911 Farmhouse. The house has been fully restored, with modern HVAC for heating and cooling, WiFi and television with attached sound system and a DVD player. The kitchen is stocked with all the pots and pans, knives and cutting boards, baking dishes and other utensils you’ll need to cook here. All linens, bedding, and towels are supplied, and there is a washer and dryer for your personal use. The house has 3 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms with six double beds between them, and the parlor room with its single-mattress daybed can become a 5th bedroom. The house is furnished with period antiques, that make this an experience and very memorable place to stay!

We have had excellent reviews from our clients regarding the advantages to having lodging right here on the farm for their weekend. Most of our clients have guests from out of town and the Farmhouse can be a very convenient and economical place to stay while here in the Asheville area. The Farmhouse rental minimum is 2 nights, and is also available for up to a week or more.

  • “the farmhouse made our family feel at home”

The antiques are wonderful, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is super equipped and the front porch is awesome. This was a very relaxing home to be in during what can be a stressful time for our daughter’s wedding. The barn was great to decorate and beautiful. The event grounds were perfect for all the yard games and the bonfire was super for s’mores. The hayride was a very special “extra” for a barn wedding. May God bless you all with many years of great weddings & celebrations!

  • “what a grand old Farmhouse!”

It served our family well. Our 3 children, spouses, and our 3 granddaughters had a delightful time! This was an incredibly relaxing vacation week. The weather was spectacular - couldn’t have asked for more. To sum it all up … our little 5 yr old granddaughter said “I don’t want to leave here - I think I am going to cry” - and she did. We loved the long farmhouse table! All 8 adults and 3 grandchildren had room to share meals together at the same time. Thanks so much for bringing the high chair for us, it worked perfectly! PS: the kitchen is wonderfully equipped - I brought things that I didn’t need! Thanks!

  • “I especially loved the old books”

We came for our granddaughter’s wedding and stayed at the farmhouse. We walked the countryside, rocked on the porch, visited the donkeys, watched FIFA World Cup futbol at the Green Man brew pub, met new friends, reconnected with old friends and family, and celebrated a beautiful wedding. Thanks for providing such a wonderful venue! What a lovely house - cozy and comfortable, well-equipped and filled with interesting things. I especially loved the old books … we all hope to return!

  • “the house was just the best”

This was our daughter’s “dream come true.” The setting was charming, beautiful and different. The dairy barn made for an excellent “rain plan” and amazing photos. The house was just the best, everyone gathered and we got to spend the last time with our children before “giving one away.” We are so pleased with how it all turned out.

  • “a week at the farm house”

We were there for the entire week prior to our wedding so we got to enjoy the country roads on morning runs, walking up to see the animals, catching fireflies, sitting in rocking chairs on the front porch for the sunset (something we don't seem to do in California) and just slowing down. I'm already trying to coordinate a trip back just to stay in the farm house again! The memories we created on this land will be some of the most cherished ones, ever. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Yesterday Spaces!

  • “we had so much fun cooking and drinking sangria”

A few specific things I would recommend: -Use the farmhouse! It was a lifesaver, and made the wedding setup and cleanup so easy. My whole bridal party and family stayed there and we had so much fun cooking and drinking sangria during the day, getting ready, and doing yoga on the porch to calm our nerves before the day! I wrote my vows on the front porch on the misty morning of my wedding day, and it was such a memorable moment for me. -Pick your own flowers at Lady Luck Farm up the road! We arranged our own bouquets and all of the wedding flowers. That was one of the highlights of my wedding weekend and the wildflowers were stunning and popped everywhere. -Do not overdecorate! The spaces and natural beauty shine on their own with just a few accents.

  • “we flew in from San Francisco”

In our week at the Farmhouse, we got married, played Kan Jam, went tubing down the French Broad, at BBQ at Buxton Hall, drank beer at Wicked Weed/Bhramari, went to a concert at the Orange Peel, and sat on the Farmhouse porch in rocking chairs and had a blast!

  • “here from London for the week”

We had a lovely, restful time (well, as restful as we could with 8 children also in residence!) Our special highlight was actually watching the fireflies at night from the Farmhouse front porch rocking chairs.

  • “a wonderful stay!”

Sitting on the front porch in early morning when cool & foggy, listening to rooster, birds and cows with a cup of coffee was a beautiful daily experience! And so many guests visited us at the Farmhouse.

  • “we ate, drank and loved”

Thank you so much for providing us with this beautiful home on this special occasion. The romantic atmosphere added so much magic to this incredible experience. We’ll never forget the wonderful moments in this home. Thank you again!

  • “loved being here every minute”

We didn’t leave the farm except for grocery runs. Loved being here every minute. So glad we stayed an extra day to receive friends, family and well wishers! Awesome venue! We enjoyed the special intimacy in the Dairy Barn - the rain actually added to the event and made it more special if you can imagine that. We love our new extended family and cannot imagine anything any better!

  • “thanks for keeping our heritage alive”

I stayed here Thursday and Friday (the nights before my daughter’s wedding). All the small details and decor made me feel right at home. Practicing the mother-daughter dance in the living room was a blast. Rod Stewart’s “Forever Young” echoed through the halls. Thanks for all the beautiful surroundings, and for keeping our heritage alive - the things our ancestors used to make and carve out a living to make our lives better.
